Pranjal Dixit is a London-based director and cinematographer working across narrative fiction, documentary, and commercial projects. Trained first as a scientist — with a BSc in Industrial Chemistry and an MSc specialising in Quantum Chemistry — he later pursued a degree in Film & TV Production, and now brings both an analytical and an image-led sensibility to his practice. His technical versatility spans film cameras (16mm, Super 8) through to digital systems including ARRI, RED, Blackmagic, and Sony (FX30, FX3), as well as wireless stabiliser setups — allowing him to adapt his approach to the specific demands of each project.
His documentary work Before the Sunset — which he shot and directed — was featured on the Art of Mastery platform. Beyond his DOP work, Pranjal directs experimental and narrative films and teaches Film & TV Production at college level. This multidisciplinary experience informs his cinematography — bringing a director's understanding of story and performance, and an educator's ability to communicate and collaborate effectively on set.

Anya is a short experimental portrait of a Kathak dancer trained in Russia, now practising in London. Cutting between the quiet of the classroom and the charge of the studio, the film traces the discipline behind a form — the small repeated gestures that hold a centuries-old tradition together — and the dancer who carries it across borders.
